Dole has launched a new line of Dole Whip frozen desserts into US retail, building on the success of its popular foodservice brand.
Made with fruit purée as the first ingredient, Dole Whip offers a fruity flavour combined with the smooth and creamy texture enjoyed by fans of soft serve ice cream.
The cups are launching in two flavours, pineapple and mango, available in single-serve sizes perfect for on-the-go consumption and at-home snacking. They are dairy-free and gluten-free, and will launch in both four-packs of 3.6 fl oz cups at grocery stores, and 8-packs of 3.6 fl oz cups at Costco.
Orzse Hodi, president of Dole Packaged Foods US, said: “We worked hard to deliver a recipe that captures the flavour and texture people expect from Dole Whip”.
“Now, we are bringing Dole Whip to freezers everywhere for fans to enjoy anytime, anywhere, bringing a little joy to everyday moments.”
Dole Whip Pineapple and Mango are now available in the frozen aisle at selected retailers for $6.99 per four-pack.
