Fresh Express is introducing three new global-inspired Chopped Salad Kits in the US, expanding its value-added convenience salad range.
The new Creamy Goddess Chopped Salad Kit features iceberg and green leaf lettuce, paired with carrots and red cabbage and topped with queso fresco, roasted salted pumpkin seeds and freeze-dried corn. The salad is finished off with a creamy cilantro cotija dressing that delivers 'vibrant Mexican-inspired flavours'.
Also launching into the range is the new Farmhouse Ranch Chopped Salad Kit, described as a 'comforting American classic'. It features Romaine lettuce, red cabbage and carrots, tossed with garlic brioche croutons and crispy garlic pepper onions. The cheese blend brings richness, while the farmhouse ranch dressing offers a creamy finish.
Finally, the Orange Sesame Chopped Salad Kit combines green leaf lettuce, kale and red and green cabbage, with toasted sesame sticks and honey-sliced almonds. Finished with a fresh orange miso vinaigrette, the salad delivers a fresh combination of Asian-inspired flavours in a light, easy-to-serve format.
Each kit is designed to deliver dynamic textures and balanced flavours, aiming to help consumers enjoy a restaurant-quality salad at home.
Fabian Pereira, vice president of marketing and innovation at Fresh Express, said: "We know that today’s shoppers are looking for more than just a basic salad – they want bold flavours, unique textures and global influences. These new kits make it easy to enjoy those experiences at home without any extra effort in the kitchen."
Arriving in stores nationwide on 21 May, the chef-crafted kits reflect the growing consumer demand for bold, internationally influenced flavours that make home dining effortless and exciting.
