Futura Foods has introduced a new flavoured halloumi sticks line under its Yamas brand, now available at selected Booths stores in the UK.
The halloumi sticks have Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, verifying their creation in Cyprus, in line with the Mediterranean dairy specialist’s commitment to authenticity.
Pre-cut for convenience and portion control, the sticks aim to offer a ‘fresh and flavourful’ take on the classic Cypriot cheese.
They have launched in two flavour varieties. ‘Tangy Tomato with Mediterranean Herbs’ features a blend of tomato, paprika, chilli, garlic and herbs for a smoky and spicy flavour. Meanwhile, the ‘Zesty Lemon with Mediterranean Herbs’ feature a coating of lemon, oregano and black pepper, combining a citrusy ‘zing’ with warm, aromatic spice.
Rhian Newman, marketing lead at Futura Foods, said: “We’ve combined convenience with exciting flavour innovation to bring something truly different to the cheese aisle, perfect for those looking to add a twist to their summer meals”.
The sticks have launched into retail now with an RRP of £2.99, marking the debut of Yamas’ flavoured halloumi range – initially available in foodservice – into stores.
