Grenade debuts Lemon Cheesecake protein bar

Performance nutrition brand Grenade has launched its newest protein bar offering to add to its portfolio – Lemon Cheesecake. Each bar features a lemon and vanilla-flavoured nougat centre, topped with a lemon curd caramel layer with additional biscuit bits and covered in white chocolate. The bars contain 21g of protein and 1.6g of sugar and are "ideal as a post-workout refuel, midday treat or on-the-go snack". Rob Page, head of product at Grenade, commented: "With lemon flavours dominating desserts, Lemon Cheesecake adds a welcome and indulgent citrus twist to Grenade’s delicious range of protein bars. Arriving just in time for the summer months, we’re confident this dessert-inspired flavour is going to crush it!" The new release will retail at £2.85 and is available to buy from the brand's website with further roll-out across Asda, Morrisons and Nisa from June and in Holland & Barrett and Sainsbury’s from July.
