JBS to invest $50m in new Saudi Arabia facility, creates 500 jobs

JBS is set to significantly expand its production capacity in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new manufactory facility in November 2024.

The site, located in Jeddah, represents a $50 million investment and will house JBS's production of breaded chicken products. The expansion is expected to create 500 new jobs.

According to the company, the new facility strengthens the strategy of expanding value-added production in the region.

In addition, JBS global CEO Gilberto Tomazoni met with representatives from the Ministry of Saudi Arabia in São Paulo, Brazil, this week to explore new investment opportunities for the company in the country. The discussions focused on initiatives aligned with the "Saudi Vision 2030" economic development programme, which aims to attract investments, create job opportunities and promote a green economy.
