Kallø targets younger consumers with organic stock pots

Ecotone UK brand Kallø is launching a new range of organic stock pots into Waitrose stores, aiming to appeal to ‘younger, more affluent’ and ‘eco-conscious’ consumers. The stock pots will launch with an RRP of £2.50, available in chicken and vegetable flavours. They aim to encourage more people to cook and enjoy nutritious meals using organic, natural ingredients. According to the brand, its latest launch was developed to fill a gap in the market for a stock pot that appeals to an ‘eco-conscious yet culinary creative’ audience, targeting younger consumers through a ‘vibrant and modern style’. Adele Ward, Kallø marketing director at Ecotone UK, commented: “As the only fully organic stocks brand, we make sure we use clean ingredients – no artificial flavours, colours or presservatives, and no MSG. We focus on premium flavour from the finest natural ingredients in formats that fit with younger consumers’ evolving needs – providing the base for them to build on with their own culinary creativity.” She added that organic supports more sustainable agriculture methods and better animal welfare, allowing the brand to provide a healthier choice in a ‘typically very limited’ stocks category.
