Kirsty’s introduces new children’s free-from ready meal range

Kirsty’s, a UK food brand that offers gluten- and dairy-free products for families, has introduced a new range of ready meals for children.

The new ‘Flourish by Kirsty’s’ range is tailored specifically for children with food allergies or intolerances, aiming to make mealtimes easier for parents who are navigating the challenges of providing healthy, allergen-free options for their kids.

Produced in Kirsty’s allergen-free food factory, the range is launching with three SKUs: Pasta Bolognese, Chicken & Sweetcorn Pie, and Cottage Pie. Each meal is free from gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and soya. The meals are also low in salt.

Pasta Bolognese contains seasoned British minced beef and vegetables, covered in tomato sauce and paired with fresh, gluten-free macaroni-shaped pasta.

Chicken & Sweetcorn Pie combines British chicken pieces with sweetcorn and a medley of vegetables, covered in a dairy-free creamy sauce and topped with a layer of sweet potato mash.

Finally, Cottage Pie is crafted with British beef and vegetables, smothered in gravy and finished with a layer of sweet potato mash.

The range is now available in Morrisons stores across the UK and online, as well as on Ocado, for a RRP of £2.50 per 200g meal. The chilled meals, which can be frozen at home on the day of purchase, are suitable for microwave and oven cooking.

Kirsty Henshaw, founder of Flourish by Kirsty’s, said: “My free-from journey started many years ago when my young son was diagnosed with food allergies and intolerances, so I have first-hand experience with how daunting this can be”.

“This is exactly why I wanted to create Flourish, to allow all young children to enjoy deliciously healthy meals without compromise, and of course make life that little bit easier for busy families.”
