Maxum Foods has announced the appointment of Adrian Lochland as its first chief executive officer, effective now. This significant leadership change marks an important milestone in the company’s ongoing growth trajectory within the food and agribusiness sectors.


Lochland, who joined Maxum in 2021, has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles across leading agribusiness, food and ingredient companies. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as executive general manager of the animal nutrition division, where he played a crucial role in driving the division's growth and success.


The decision to appoint Lochland as CEO reflects Maxum Foods' strong performance and its commitment to strategic investment across its food, animal nutrition and farming portfolios. His leadership is expected to guide the company through its next phase of development, focusing on enhancing service excellence and operational continuity.

Lochland will remain based at the company’s Brisbane headquarters as he transitions into his new role. Under his leadership, Maxum Foods aims to maintain its focus on customer relationships and operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless transition for both employees and clients.


Maxum Foods is recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s principal suppliers of dairy ingredients, catering to the human health and nutrition as well as the animal nutrition industries.


The company specialises in providing medium to large-scale food manufacturers with high-quality dairy products, including milk powders, cheese and butter, supported by robust technical expertise and global supply channels.


As Maxum Foods embarks on this new chapter with Lochland at the helm, industry observers will be closely monitoring the company’s strategic initiatives and how they position themselves in the competitive landscape of dairy and food ingredients.
