Premier Foods' UK cake brand, Mr Kipiling, is launching a range of brand-new cake slices for lunchboxes this month (March 2025).
Crafted with taste and nutrition in mind, the slices come in three flavours: raspberry, banana and chocolate orange. The non-HFSS slices are designed for convenience.

Research undertaken by Mr Kipling found that cake occasions have grown by 3% compared to last year, with packed lunches accounting for 63% of these moments. The findings also indicated that health is a priority for consumers, but with no compromise on taste. The new Lunchbox Slices feature a light and fluffy sponge, made with real fruit and a drizzle of icing. Each slice offers a source of fibre and contains less than 100 calories.

The slices launched on 20 March in Asda and rolled out in Morrisons on 24 March. They will be available across other grocery spaces from April.
