Nestlé has launched its new Max Pro line under the Vital Pursuit brand, introducing frozen pizzas that feature a significant protein content aimed at health-conscious consumers.
The pizzas, which contain 33g of protein and 17g of fibre per serving, are set to enter the freezer aisles of national retailers this month.
The Max Pro pizzas will be available in two varieties: Cheese Lovers and Chicken Mozzarella. The Cheese Lovers variant combines a mix of mozzarella, parmesan, asiago and Romano cheeses; while the Chicken Mozzarella option includes white meat chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, onions, basil and balsamic tomato sauce.
Priced at a suggested retail of $4.99, these offerings are positioned as some of the highest protein pizzas available on the market.
This product introduction aligns with a growing consumer trend that emphasises high-protein foods, particularly among those following GLP-1 dietary guidelines.
The Max Pro line aims to cater to individuals seeking convenient meal options that support their nutritional goals, especially as protein continues to be a forecasted trend for 2025.
Nestlé's Vital Pursuit brand has been recognised for its thoughtfully portioned meals, designed to meet the needs of specific dietary preferences and health trends.
The expansion into the frozen pizza category reflects the company's strategy to diversify its product offerings while addressing consumer demand for nutritious convenience foods.
As the frozen meal segment continues to evolve, the introduction of high-protein options like the Max Pro pizzas may influence market dynamics, potentially attracting a broader customer base interested in healthier meal solutions.
