Oreo taps into demand for seasonal products with latest launch

Mondelēz International has expanded its offering under its cookie brand Oreo, with a new festive launch.


The limited-edition Oreo Festive Cookies feature dual-layered red and green creme, sandwiched between the brand’s classic chocolate cookie.


🐧 The cookies are topped with five different seasonal embossments, including a candy cane, gingerbread man, penguin, snowman and a red-nosed reindeer. ☃️


This is the latest in a number of innovations from the Oreo brand this year. In August, Coca-Cola and Oreo partnered on a limited-edition product launch in Canada, introducing two new products: the Oreo x Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie and Coca-Cola x Oreo Zero Sugar drink.


June saw the brand release a mint choc chip variety, and, in April, Oreo collaborated with confectionery brand Sour Patch Kids to launch the its 'first-ever' sour cookie. This year, Oreo also unveiled galaxy-inspired Oreo Space Dunk cookies with layers of blue and pink marshmallow-flavoured creme infused with popping candy, and it partnered with Froneri to launch Oreo ice cream bites.


The new festive Oreos are available to purchase now exclusively in Walmart and Target stores across the US.
