Proseal has introduced the CP3rs, an ultra-compact, fully automatic case packing system tailored for flexible production environments, particularly those constrained by space.
This launch builds on the success of its predecessor – the CP3 case packing solution – and promises to deliver rapid product changeovers and high throughput capabilities.
The CP3rs is designed to accommodate a variety of packaging formats, including returnable plastic containers, shelf-ready packaging, cartons and collapsible cases.
A standout feature of this system is the deep reach Active Tool, which enhances its ability to efficiently load products into deep-fill cases.
The system’s automatic quick release tooling, combined with a recipe-based control system, allows for swift transitions to shallower fill cases, promoting versatility in production lines.
Nick Severn, product line manager at Proseal, said: “At Proseal, we understand that constant innovation is essential to stay ahead of the evolving demands of the food packaging industry”.
The CP3rs aims to address unique operational constraints faced by manufacturers while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key features of the CP3rs include:
Ultra-compact footprint: Designed for production environments with limited space.
Deep reach active tool: Efficiently handles deep-fill cases.
Reversible tray and box feed: Adaptable for various applications.
Inheriting robust features from the CP series, the CP3rs also includes:
Recipe-driven control system: Facilitates rapid product changeovers.
Automatic quick release tool lock: Simplifies tooling adjustments.
ProMotion+ advanced servo driven tray spacing system: Enhances precision in tray handling.
ProTect contactless login and audit trail features: Ensures secure operations.
Integral vacuum pump: Standard for reliable performance.
User-friendly control panel: Provides step-by-step setup guides.
Optional enhancements for the CP3rs include pack turning conveyors, full line integration with existing Proseal equipment, and customisation options for delivery and discharge systems, allowing manufacturers to tailor the system to their specific needs.
This introduction of the CP3rs represents a significant advancement in case packing technology, combining a compact design with powerful performance capabilities to meet the diverse requirements of the food packaging industry.
