Raisio launches new Benecol honey and lemon yogurt drink

Finnish food company Raisio has added a new yogurt drink flavour to its cholesterol-lowering Benecol brand portfolio. Benecol's lemon and honey yogurt flavour contains plant stanols, which are said to be proven to lower cholesterol. The yogurt also features vitamins B1 and C to support the immune system.

Benecol's brand manager, Sneahmoyee Banerjee, said: “We’re hugely excited to announce the new flavour launch, Benecol lemon and honey yogurt drink into Waitrose, providing healthy solutions to the cholesterol lowering category and immunity support”.

According to the brand, one Benecol yogurt drink a day can reduce consumers' cholesterol by between 7-10% in just two to three weeks.


Benecol lemon and honey is available at Waitrose stores for an RRP of £4.50 per one pack of six yogurt drinks.
