UK milkshake brand Shaken Udder has introduced two new flavours to its portfolio: Scoff-The-Lot and Raspberry Ripple.
The new offerings, targeting the snacking occasion, were launched to tap into the growing demand for familiar flavours with a modern twist.
Shaken Udder noted that caramelised biscuit flavours have grown in popularity in recent years, with consumers enjoying them in cheesecakes as well as in cereals and spreads. Additionally, raspberry flavours remain popular as consumers seek classic, nostalgic flavours that remind them of childhood.
The new Scoff-The-Lot milkshake contains a ‘warming hint of cinnamon with a rich sweetness,’ inspired by caramelised biscuit-flavoured desserts, while the Raspberry Ripple offering – which blends real raspberries with milk – is said to taste just like the popular ice cream flavour.
Shaken Udder’s new milkshakes contain no artificial ingredients and are HFSS-compliant. They come in 330ml and 750ml variants, providing an on-the-go option for consumers as well as a larger format suitable for sharing.
Jo Abram, marketing director at Shaken Udder, said: “We’re a nation of snackers, and 58% of people choose milkshakes as a snack between meals. With shoppers gravitating towards dessert flavours in their snacks, our latest launches will hit the spot for those looking for tasty, familiar favourites.”
She added: “By using our expertise in real ingredients, we’ve created two new flavours that focus on taste, yet contain absolutely nothing artificial, so consumers can still enjoy the important vitamins and minerals that milk provides”.
Shaken Udder’s Raspberry Ripple 330ml (RRP £1.85) is now available in Tesco, Morrisons and Booths, and Scoff-The-Lot is available in Tesco in 750ml format (RRP £3.00). The 330ml on-the-go variant will also launch in Sainsbury’s from 28 April.
