US active nutrition brand Silver Star Nutrition has launched Select Proformance Elite Whey Protein Isolate, a fast-digesting protein designed specifically for ‘performance-driven’ consumers and athletes.

The launch builds on the brand’s Elite Plant Protein line, offering a whey-based clean label option for consumers seeking a high-quality animal-based protein powder with the benefits of fast absorption.

Crafted using ion exchange technology and sourced from grass-fed cows, Elite Whey Protein Isolate delivers 20g of protein per serving with over 90% protein content. It is also low in fat, lactose and carbohydrates.

Available in chocolate, French vanilla and unflavoured variants, the powder includes 2.5g of leucine per serving to support muscle protein synthesis.

Like its plant-based counterpart, it aims to provide an enhanced taste and texture that avoids the chalky or bitter aftertastes found in many other protein powders, developed to outperform traditional whey.

Ryan Toreson, president and general manager of MHF Group, said: “With Elite Whey Protein Isolate, we're raising the bar for purity and performance in the whey category”.

“We focused on creating a formula that is fast-absorbing, easy to digest and built for athletes who demand clean, effective fuel without unnecessary fillers or compromise.”
