The Gym Kitchen enters chilled dairy with high-protein milk launch

UK frozen meal brand The Gym Kitchen is entering the chilled dairy category with the launch of its new high-protein skimmed milk in Tesco stores.

With 60g of protein per litre, this fat-free, no-added-sugar milk offers a "more nutritious" alternative to regular milk, according to the company. The milk is developed using an advanced filtration process that removes water under high pressure at a low temperature, concentrating the its natural proteins and lactose. This results in a fat-free, high-protein milk with a slightly sweet taste, ideal for shakes, cereals, baking, cooking and more.

The Gym Kitchen's founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “We are incredibly excited about entering another completely new market for The Gym Kitchen, on the back of a phenomenal year of NPD launches across major categories".

“Our proposition around high-protein, nutritionally balanced food that delivers on taste, fits perfectly with the health consumption drivers around milk, making this launch a natural progression for the brand.”

The high-protein skimmed milk will be priced at £2.20 for a 1-litre bottle.
