The Gym Kitchen unveils new high-protein sausages

UK food brand The Gym Kitchen is expanding its portfolio with a new range of high-protein chicken sausages, launching in Tesco stores this month (March 2025) ahead of barbecue season.

The sausages include an original variety with roasted onion and light seasoning and a Piri Piri flavour, infused with red peppers and chilli. Each variant has 17g and 18g of protein, respectively, per serving.

Founder, Segun Akinwoleola, said: “We are delighted to further expand our range in Tesco, putting ‘The Gym Kitchen twist’ on what has got to be one of the nation’s favourites. Sausages are incredibly versatile and an ultimate crowd-pleaser - our new high-protein range is guaranteed to get taste-buds sizzling, whilst smashing those ever-important nutrition goals."

The new launch follows an already successful expansion across chilled meals, food to go, chilled yogurts and desserts, and offers consumers a new option for the functional food space across different meal occasions.

Founded in 2016, The Gym Kitchen creates high-protein, functional foods across a range of occasions, from cupboard to chilled foods. Products are available throughout the UK and Ireland, stocked at Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, Morrisons, Ocado and Dunnes stores.
