UK functional beverage brand Trip has launched a new innovation, Trip Wild Strawberry, in partnership with mental wellness app Calm.
The lightly sparkling drink is described as tasting like ‘summer in a can,’ balancing sweet wild strawberry flavours with tangy grape and a touch of sage.
Designed to enhance consumer wellbeing, it contains a blend of botanicals known for their stress-reducing, mood-boosting benefits. This functional blend includes chamomile, lemon balm, magnesium, and the trending functional mushroom lion’s mane.
The drink made its debut as part of the Sainsbury’s meal deal offering, before rolling out to additional retailers.
Olivia Ferdi, Trip co-founder, said: “The meal deal is a national ritual – we saw a chance to meet people where they already are, and offer them something genuinely helpful for their mental health. It’s a small change to your lunch break with a potentially massive impact on your mind.”
Calm’s co-founder, Michael Acton Smith, commented: “Calm was created to help people feel happier and healthier; Trip is all about finding calm in everyday chaos, so this really is a perfect match”.
Trip Wild Strawberry is available in 250ml and 330ml cans in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, independents and online now.
