Premier Foods-owned UK brand Ambrosia has added a new Sweet Cinnamon flavour to its ready-to-eat porridge range, aimed at enhancing convenience for consumers during the colder months.

This addition marks the fifth flavour in the existing line, which includes Original, Golden Syrup, Raspberry and Apple & Blueberry.

Sweet Cinnamon porridge is designed for immediate consumption, requiring only a simple stir before eating. This format caters to the growing demand for convenient meal options among busy consumers.

The product is made from British wholegrain oats and West Country milk, ensuring a creamy texture without the use of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Additionally, it is a source of protein and low in fat, appealing to health-conscious shoppers.

Retailers are expected to benefit from this new offering, as the grab-and-go pots can be enjoyed hot or cold, providing flexibility for consumers. The entire range is also HFSS-compliant, allowing for broader placement in stores without promotional restrictions.

Ambrosia's latest flavour introduction comes at a time when the brand has seen consistent sales growth across Britain.

The Sweet Cinnamon porridge pot will be available starting 2 January in selected Asda stores, with a recommended selling price of £1.29 for a 210g pot.
