European bakery products manufacturer Baker & Baker is launching a new Cadbury Mini Eggs chocolate cookie, which has been created in the run-up to Easter. The new limited-edition cookie is baked fresh in-stores and combines Cadbury’s chocolate cookie dough with micro-Mini Eggs, a first for Baker & Baker. The cookies are packaged in a paper bag featuring Cadbury Mini Eggs' branding, and each bag contains four cookies. The Cadbury Mini Eggs chocolate cookies will be an addition to the current selection of three flavours in the Cadbury fresh cookies in-store bakery range. The existing options include Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate & orange, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Dairy Milk caramel. Baker & Baker holds an exclusive fresh bakery licensing agreement with Mondelēz, enabling the production and distribution of fresh bakery products, featuring brands such as Milka, Oreo and Cadbury, throughout major European markets. Michael Bancroft, licensing director for Baker & Baker, said: “Our Cadbury Mini Eggs chocolate cookies include the number one Easter chocolate brand and address a growing consumer desire for fresh and exciting seasonal baked goods”. The product will be available in Tesco, Asda and Co-op starting 12 February.
