Vitamin Well UK-owned protein brand, Barebells, has expanded its portfolio with its new Marshmallow Rocky Road protein bar, launching exclusively into Tesco stores across the UK.
Barebells Marshmallow Rocky Road is a soft bar that features a fluffy, chewy marshmallow layer, crunchy peanuts and sweet caramel, wrapped in a smooth milk chocolate coating. Each bar contains 17g of protein and no added sugar.
The new flavour was teased in Barebells’ advent calendar last year, but it has now permanently launched into retail.
Matt Hollier, managing director at Vitamin Well UK and Ireland, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Barebells protein bars are now available in Tesco stores across the UK...We are launching a new bar, Barebells Marshmallow Rocky Road, with Tesco as our exclusive brick-and-mortar retail partner, demonstrating our commitment to building a strong relationship with the retailer.”
He continued: “The response to the Marshmallow Rocky Road bar was overwhelming – consumers have been demanding it ever since. So, we decided to bring it here for real this time.”
In June, Barebells introduced a new raspberry cream protein bar, and, in February, it expanded its soft protein bar offering with a new Coco Choco variety.
The new bar will be available to purchase in Tesco stores from 27 August for an RRP of £2.70.
