De Nigris unveils sweet rosé vinegar

Italian vinegar and condiment company, De Nigris, has added a sweet rosé vinegar to its line of traditional and innovative products. The company says it crafted the Sweet Rosé Vinegar to bring elements and experiences known by rosé wine fans into a kitchen staple in time for the warmer months. The vinegar is naturally fruity and more floral than traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena – the sweet wine vinegar is made exclusively from Italian Ancellotta grapes. The grapes are slow-cooked and then aged for up to three years in oak barrels, which creates a sweet yet slightly acidic quality and gives the vinegar its signature pink colour. Michela De Nigris, finance manager at De Nigris, said: “The debut of De Nigris Sweet Rosé Vinegar…combines the same intricate process used to craft our classic vinegars with a fresh take on flavour and creativity. We carefully selected the best grapes to achieve a result that is lighter, sweeter and aromatically similar to a rosé wine, but is consistent to our tradition of quality and taste.” The vinegar is available to purchase at retailers across the US for an RRP of $6.99 per 500ml bottle.
