Mondelēz International-owned brand Grenade has unveiled a fresh take on its Grenade Oreo protein bar with a white chocolate variation: Grenade Oreo White. Grenade Oreo White features the familiar Grenade Oreo elements: a protein dough base with Oreo cocoa, a thick crème layer-flavoured with Oreo vanilla and Oreo pieces. Additionally, the new variant includes a layer of white chocolate. Grenade Oreo White has 20g of protein and less than 2g of sugar. Grenade's head of product, Rob Page, commented: “Our collaboration with Oreo has been a fantastic partnership to bring high protein, low sugar snacks to the masses with the authentic flavour of Oreo…now the number one protein bar in the UK. Having launched Grenade Oreo back in January, we are convinced that Grenade Oreo White is going to be perfect for those wanting a protein-packed afternoon sweet treat, or those looking to boost their protein around exercise.” The 60g bars can be purchased for £2.85 on the brand's website and will soon be available at Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-Op and Holland & Barrett stores in the coming weeks.
