Proper Snacks has partnered with streaming company Netflix on a limited-edition popcorn flavour, Netflix and Chilli Caramel.

Balancing the sweetness of caramel with a warm chilli kick, Netflix & Chilli Caramel popcorn is high in fibre, made with natural flavouring, and under 100 calories per serving. The new flavour is also HFSS-compliant, vegan and gluten-free.

Cassandra Stavrou, founder of Proper Snacks, said: “Partnering with Netflix is a huge moment for Proper. It directly speaks to our rapid growth over the past decade. For two brands that are synonymous with the night-in, it's a natural fit...We strive to shake up the category, driving growth and keeping it fresh and flavour-packed. 'Netflix and Chilli Caramel' is the perfect addition to watching your favourite Netflix shows for a proper night. We can’t wait for fans to try it.”

The newest flavour joins Proper’s savoury flavours, Tangy Chilli, Smoky & Sweet Paprika and Cracked Black Pepper & Salt, which the brand launched last month. Earlier this year, Proper introduced a range of chickpea-powered ProperChips with flavours inspired by popular global cuisines – Ghost Chilli & Yuzu, Jerk Sauce and Katsu Curry.

The Netflix and Chilli Caramel popcorn will launch into major retailers across the UK from 11 September, for a limited time only.
