British biscuit maker Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) has expanded its portfolio with the launch of two new seasonal products.
The first new product, Fox’s Winter Spiced Cookies, combine chocolate chunk cookies that are half enrobed in smooth milk chocolate with the addition of warming winter spiced flavours.
The second new product, under FBC’s Maryland brand, is the new Merryland White Chocolate Chip Minis. Crafted following huge growth in the white chocolate segment, the new festive cookies are designed to tap into increasing consumer preference for smaller formats of seasonal biscuits.
Colin Taylor, trade marketing director at FBC UK, said: "Last Christmas was a roaring success for the biscuits category and was a demonstration of how important the market is to seasonal sales...This demonstrates a definite appetite from consumers who want to get into the festive spirit.”
Taylor continued: “In the lead up to Christmas, it is key that retailers focus on small early rewards and help shoppers plan gifting occasions: the FBC range delivers both across grocery and convenience”.
The new Fox’s Winter Spiced Cookies and Merryland Minis are available to purchase now in major UK supermarkets.
