Mr Kipling expands no-bake cheesecake offering with new flavour

Mr Kipling expands no-bake cheesecake offering with new flavour

Premier Foods-owned cake brand Mr Kipling has expanded its portfolio of No Bake Cheesecake kits with a new lemon variety.

🍋 The new lemon flavour joins Mr Kipling’s Salted Caramel flavour that launched in September. 🍋

‘Ready to Make’ is the second largest subcategory within ambient desserts, and, according to Mr Kipling, mostly consists of long-established products and formats. The brand expects to shake-up the current offering with on-trend formats and new flavours.

Daniel Jalalpour, marketing director of desserts at Premier Foods, commented: “There is so much potential to go after in the Ready to Make category and we want to help retailers tap into this by adding something new into the mix. By innovating in the category, we aim to reinvigorate the ambient dessert aisle, with a new, exciting and easy way to enjoy making desserts at home. We hope to attract new consumers into the sector and inspire younger shoppers to create delicious desserts.”

🍰 It's been a busy year for the Mr Kipling brand. This year it has launched new brownie and blondie mixes and introduced a range of loaf cakes. It also expanded its offering under its Signature Collection with new small cake offerings, and unveiled new Strawberries & Cream-flavoured Fondant Fancies.

The Mr Kipling No Bake Cheesecake Lemon Flavour Kit is available to purchase now at select UK retailers for an RRP of £2.50.
