UK healthy snacking brand Boundless has successfully completed a £1.5m investment round to support the growth of its gut-friendly offerings.
The successful raise comes from notable food and beverage industry investors, including Graze co-founder Ben Jones.
Boundless provides a range of bagged snacks designed to support good gut health, catering to consumers seeking healthy, on-the-go options. The brand’s high-fibre snack range is gluten-free and suitable for vegans.
The female-led business, headed up by founder and CEO Cathy Moseley, has seen its sales value increase by 110.2% year-on-year and volume up by 171% this year, accelerating its success in the ‘better-for-you’ category.
The last year has also seen the launch of new foodservice deals with wholesalers Bidfood, Brakes and Foodbuy, increasing the brand’s distribution by over 2000%. Boundless’ range is also available in major retailers Lidl, Holland & Barrett, Ocado, WH Smith and over 3,000 independent stockists across the UK.
Founder Moseley commented: “I’m incredibly proud to announce Boundless as the UK’s number one gut health bagged snack, having contributed to 13% of the better-for-you crisp growth and driving penetration where this key metric is in decline at a category level”.
She added: “With our current trajectory, Boundless is on its way to owning 1% of the better-for-you category by the end of the financial year”.
