Geeta’s expands Indian flavour range with three new mixes

Geeta’s expands Indian flavour range with three new mixes

Indian food brand Geeta’s has expanded its portfolio with the addition of three new seasoning mixes.

The new 35g sachets were developed to help consumers easily add the flavours of India to various dishes. They are available in Mango Masala Vegetables, Tandoori Chicken and Gunpowder Potatoes varieties.

Mango Masala Vegetables is a fragrant and mild spice mix that contains tart and tangy dried mango and a blend of aromatic spices.

Tandoori Chicken seasoning mix has a medium spice rating of two chillies and is a mix of fiery chilli, sweet garlic and paprika.

Gunpowder Potatoes seasoning mix is hot, with a three-chilli rating, and contains fiery cracked red chilli, garlic, black pepper and a blend of spices.

Each mix contains four servings and can be used as part of a traybake, air fryer or BBQ cooking, meeting consumer demand for great taste, convenience, ease of preparation and versatility.

The sachets contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians.

Eleanor Bridgman, director of sales and marketing at Geeta’s, said: “Over the last few years, we’ve really seen UK consumers' appetite for Indian flavours grow. Our mission is to inspire everyday foodies to add the depth, vibrancy, variety and excitement of Indian flavours to everyday meals and snacks. Our new seasonings offer consumers a great opportunity to experiment with Indian flavours in new ways beyond the curry occasion.”

This is the latest in a number of innovations from the Geeta's brand. Earlier this month, it made its foray into the ready meal category with a duo of microwaveable dishes, Bombay Spiced Lentils & Potaotes, and Saag Aloo, and last year it tapped into the bread category with its range of roti flatbreads.

Geeta’s seasonings are available to purchase now in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.
