In response to the growing demand for high-protein products, Biotiful Gut Health has introduced a new range of High Protein Kefir Drinks.

According to Biotiful, the products represent a ‘world first’ – the first beverage that combines 20g of clean protein with live cultures in a fermented dairy drink. The brand says that the beverages were the result of months of ‘intense’ development.

The drinks come in three flavour varieties: Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry, each with 20g of natural protein per 330ml bottle.

The products contain billions of live cultures, calcium and vitamin B12 and are low in fat – making them the ideal pre- or post-workout drink or a nutritious power snack.

CEO and founder of Biotiful Gut Health, Natasha Bowes, said: “We know there is a demand for products that combine the benefits of clean protein and natural gut health. We also know that more than ever consumers want clean, natural products with none of the artificial ingredients that many other products in this category contain – and that is what we have created with our groundbreaking High Protein Kefir ranges.”

This is the latest in several innovations from Biotiful Gut Health. In June, the brand unveiled probiotic-packed Kefir Overnight Oats and in January it launched ambient meal boosters to promote gut health. Last year, the brand tapped into the children's market with the introduction of its Kids Kefir product line, packed with good bacteria, no added sugar, calcium and all-natural ingredients.

The High Protein Kefir Drinks are available in select retailers across the UK now for an RRP of £1.95.
