Lindt & Sprüngli has launched a new limited-edition product in the UK: Lindor Shortbread Truffles.

The company began in 1845, when a father-and-son duo manufactured solid chocolate for the first time in their small confectionery. Today, the Lindt & Sprüngli business – much transformed from its humble beginnings – makes products at 12 production sites in Europe and the US. They are distributed by 25 subsidiary companies and branch offices, in more than 410 owned stores, and also via a comprehensive network of more than 100 independent distributors around the globe. With over 14,000 employees, the Lindt & Sprüngli Group reported sales worth CHF 4.1 billion ($4 billion) in 2017.
