Aldi Scotland unveils square sausage pakora for Burns Night

Aldi Scotland unveils square sausage pakora for Burns Night

Aldi Scotland has teamed up with Ayrshire-based food producer, Punjab Pakora, to launch a limited-edition square sausage pakora for Burns Night.

The spicy take on a breakfast favourite has launched exclusively in Aldi’s Scottish stores, priced at £1.99 per 200g six-piece pack.

Aldi’s square sausage treats are lightly fried and come with a spicy tomato and chilli dip, delivering a hot kick. They have been designed to provide a tasty addition to seasonal celebrations.

The launch builds on previous successful collaborations with Punjab Pakora, which has already developed beer battered and iron brew pakoras for Aldi Scotland.

Graham Nicolson, group buying director at Aldi Scotland, said: “Punjab Pakora is consistently thinking of new ways to excite and delight consumers, and we know this latest offering will go down an absolute treat with them”.

“Working closely with our suppliers across the country, our buying team are always on the look-out for exciting new products that capture the imagination and showcase the best Scotland has to offer while delivering great value to our customers.”
