Rajneet Kohli, CEO and executive director of Britannia Industries, has announced his resignation with effect from 14 March 2025.
Britannia Industries, an Indian multinational food company specialising in biscuits, dairy and snacking, revealed the news of Kohli’s resignation yesterday (6 March 2025) in a stock exchange filing.
The filing revealed that Kohli would be ‘relieved from the services of the company’ on 14 March as requested in his resignation letter.
In his letter, Kohli asked that Britannia waive his notice period, stating that he would be leaving to pursue an external opportunity.
He wrote: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank our chairman, the esteemed board members and my executive leadership team for their outstanding support extended to me during my stint. I feel immensely satisfied that I am leaving on a strong note, as Britannia is poised for continued growth.”
Kohli had worked as CEO and executive director since joining Britannia in September 2022. Prior to this, he spent four years at takeaway pizza chain Domino’s India, most recently as president and chief business officer. His previous experience also includes over 13 years at the Coca-Cola Company.
Britannia is yet to announce further details regarding who will succeed Kohli in the role.
