As Easter approaches, confectionery brands are rolling out their most tempting creations, from the classic chocolate eggs we all know and love, to creative new flavours, unexpected shapes and limited-edition seasonal treats.
FoodBev's Rafaela Sousa take a closer look at some of exciting Easter confectionery releases this year, showcasing how brands are tapping into these trends and making the most of this seasonal surge in consumer interest.
Lindt's Easter collection
Lindt & Sprüngli has released its Easter 2025 collection, featuring new egg varieties and an updated take on its iconic Gold Bunny.
This year’s range comes in refreshed red and gold packaging and introduces several new products, including the Rainbow Easter Egg, which offers the brand’s widest assortment of Lindor truffles to date, the Heart Easter Egg with milk chocolate hearts and truffles and a Mint Chocolate Easter Egg made with dark chocolate.
Building on the success of last year’s Gold Bunny Milk Chocolate Bar, Lindt has launched a new Salted Caramel variant. The bar features spring-themed embossing and combines Lindt’s signature milk chocolate with salted caramel pieces. The full collection is available nationwide at Lindt Chocolate shops and online.
New for this Easter, Lindt is also tapping into 2025’s standout flavour trend: pistachio. Lindt Lindor Pistachio Truffles are now available nationwide in supermarkets. Joining the line-up is the Lindt Lindor Pistachio Easter Egg, featuring a creamy milk chocolate shell and pistachio-filled truffles.
Both pistachio products are also available online and in Lindt’s retail stores, including the brand’s new flagship store on London’s Piccadilly.
Swizzels' Squashies Drumchick
Swizzels has introduced a limited-edition Easter sweet, Squashies Drumchick. Shaped like chicks and packed in bright seasonal packaging, the sweets feature a combination of orange and pineapple flavours.
Drumchick joins Swizzels’ Easter line-up alongside its Sweet Shop Favourites tubs and vegan-friendly variety bags, including Scrumptious Sweets, Luscious Lollies and Curious Chews. The 120g bags are available at UK retailers in the lead-up to Easter.
Tesco's Easter eggs range

Tesco has launched a new collection of own-brand Easter eggs, featuring a mix of premium, Free From and flavoured options. The line-up includes the Tesco Sea Salt & Pretzel Milk Chocolate Egg and the Biscuit & Raisin Milk Chocolate Egg – both inspired by popular flavours from the retailer’s chocolate bar range.
Tesco has also expanded its Finest collection with two new premium options: the Cote D'Ivoire 48% Dark Milk Chocolate Egg and the Cote D'Ivoire 47% Orange Dark Chocolate Egg, both made with sustainably sourced cocoa.
For shoppers with dietary requirements, the Tesco Free From Caramel Crunch Choc Egg offers a dairy-free shell with honeycomb pieces, caramel flakes, rice biscuit balls and sea salt. The full range is available in Tesco stores and online.
Popcorn Shed's Easter eggs and popcorn

UK gourmet popcorn brand Popcorn Shed has released its Easter 2025 range, combining seasonal favourites with new dessert-inspired flavours.
New for this year are Carrot Cake and Cinnamon Roll flavours. Carrot Cake combines spiced caramel popcorn with cream cheese-style frosting, while Cinnamon Roll features caramel popcorn with a cinnamon-spiced frosting. Both are sold in 80g packs at £4.50 each.

The line-up also sees the return of the Popcorn Easter Egg, a 300g Belgian milk chocolate-coated egg priced at £25 and the Chocolate Trio ‘Bunny Mix,' available in 80g (£4.50) and 24g (£1.70) packs, featuring salted caramel and milk chocolate, white chocolate and chocolate caramel popcorn.
Haribo's confectionery line-up

Haribo has unveiled a new range of Easter-themed products aimed at offering alternatives to traditional holiday treats. The line targets both children and adults, as the brand looks to capitalise on changing consumer behaviour and rising egg prices.
The Easter collection includes:
Goldbears Easter Egg: A family-friendly option featuring six treat-sized bags of classic Goldbears in five fruity flavours– strawberry, orange, lemon, pineapple and raspberry.
Spring Mix: A seasonal assortment combining Happy Chicks, Happy Hoppers, classic Goldbears and Goldbears Wild Berry, suited for egg hunts and gatherings.
Easter Sour Grass: A tangy option designed for fans of sour candy, offering a flavour-forward alternative to traditional Easter sweets.
Haribo’s expanded line aims to meet demand for more varied and innovative confections during the holiday season, tapping into both nostalgia and the growing interest in unique, non-egg-based treats.
Baileys' mint-flavoured Easter egg

Irish chocolatier Lir Chocolates has expanded its Baileys Chocolate range with a new Mint Chocolate Easter Egg. The egg features a mint chocolate shell with crispy pieces and a hint of Baileys Irish Cream, accompanied by Baileys Chocolate Mint Truffles filled with smooth mint chocolate and Baileys. Available at selected retailers for an RRP of £12.
Hershey's Easter products
The Hershey Company has released a new selection of Easter products under its Reese’s and Hershey’s brands. The Reese’s line-up includes a 170g Peanut Butter Egg, a 170g bag of Mini Peanut Butter Eggs and the Spring Sprinkles Big Cup King Size, featuring two oversized peanut butter cups filled with Reese’s signature peanut butter and topped with festive sprinkles.
From the Hershey’s brand, the new Cookies ‘N’ Creme Egg 390g set includes an XL 300g egg and a 90g Cookies ‘N’ Creme bar. Both feature a white chocolate shell with crunchy cookie pieces. The full range is available in stores throughout the Easter season.
Venchi's Easter egg line-up
Italian chocolatier Venchi has unveiled its latest addition to its seasonal line-up: the Extra Dark 77% Nibs Easter egg. Vegan and crafted from premium 77% extra dark cocoa, the egg is studded with roasted cacao nibs, delivering a bold flavour profile with notes of fruit fondue, sweet spices and walnut.
Also new to the range is the Chocoviar Gianduia Egg, a plant-based take on the classic Italian hazelnut and chocolate combination. It features South American cocoa masses, 35% Piedmont Hazelnuts, raw cane sugar and a coating of hazelnut crumbs.
Another newcomer is the Caramel & Salted Toffee Egg, which combines a caramel chocolate shell with chunks of salted toffee for a balanced sweet and savoury experience.
Meanwhile, there is also the new Gran Gourmet Pistachio Egg, a white chocolate shell blended with pistachio paste, featuring a core completely coated in lightly salted, crunchy whole pistachios – balancing sweet, salty, soft and crunchy textures in one bite.
These seasonal releases join Venchi’s broader Blooming Wonder collection, which includes:
Gran Milk Hazelnut Egg, features a soft milk chocolate encasing whole Piedmont Hazelnuts; and Chocoviar Pistachio Egg, contains white chocolate and pistachio paste with a crunchy interior of toffee, cacao nibs and pistachio crumbs.
