Blue Diamond Growers, an almond marketer and processor, has partnered with Mike’s Hot Honey to introduce Hot Honey Almonds. This new product aims to capitalise on consumer demand for bold, innovative flavours in the snacking sector.

Hot Honey Almonds blend the distinct sweetness of honey with a spicy chili kick, creating a unique flavour profile that caters to the growing trend of sweet and spicy snacks. This collaboration marks a new step for Blue Diamond as it seeks to diversify its offerings and appeal to adventurous consumers.

Maya Erwin, vice president of marketing and innovation at Blue Diamond, commented: “Consumers crave big, exciting flavours, and these almonds deliver a mouthwatering combination of crunch, sweetness and heat.”

The new Hot Honey Almonds are now available on Amazon and at select Walmart locations across the US. They are offered in 1.5-ounce snack tubes and 6-ounce cans, priced at approximately $14.99 for a 12-pack and starting at $2.98, respectively.

The introduction of this product aligns with broader industry trends that show consumers are increasingly looking for snacks that offer convenience without sacrificing flavour. The versatility of Hot Honey Almonds as an on-the-go snack, salad topping or addition to charcuterie boards further enhances its market appeal.

Mike Kurtz, founder of Mike’s Hot Honey, added: “Sweet heat plus crunch is always a winning combination in my book, and I couldn't be more pleased with how the product turned out”.
