The Hershey's Company-owned brands One Brands and Reese's have teamed up to launch a peanut butter protein bar in the US.

One x Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers offers the taste of Reese's peanut butter in a healthier option, boasting 18g of protein and 3g of sugar.

The new product is made with a protein blend of whey protein isolate and milk protein isolate, along with prebiotic fibre from vegetable sources, and ingredients like maltitol, vegetable glycerin, peanut butter, peanuts, palm kernel oil, nonfat dry milk and more.

Bo Jones, One Brands' brand manager, said: "Many peanut butter-flavoured protein bars exist in the world, but only One Brands can do it with the real ingredients of Reese's peanut butter".

"At One Brands, we understand our consumers love their favourite flavours like peanut butter in a protein-packed snack. That's why we're excited to give them the One x Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers flavour-inspired protein bar that tastes delicious."

In addition to the new Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers flavour, One Brands is introducing a Hershey's Cookies 'n' Crème flavour protein bar, featuring Hershey's Cookies 'n' Crème bits for added crunch.

Both flavours join One Brand's existing protein bar line-up, which includes Birthday Cake, Maple-Glazed Donut, Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Blueberry Cobbler.

One x Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers and Hershey's Cookies 'n' Crème-flavoured protein bars are available on Amazon and at retailers across the US.
