World’s top 15 soft drinks brands

World’s top 15 soft drinks brands

Three soft drinks brands featured in the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2015 – Coca-Cola at number eight, Pepsi at 79 and Red Bull at 94.

The leading brand overall was Apple on $250bn and the 100th brand is worth $11bn.

Curiously, the soft drinks top 15 included hot drinks and separated out diet versions. In full, they are:

  1. Coca-Cola – $70bn

  2. Diet Coke (including Light, Zero) – $13.8bn

  3. Red Bull – $11.4bn

  4. Pepsi – $10.8bn

  5. Nescafé – $6.3bn

  6. Tropicana – $6bn

  7. Fanta – $6bn

  8. Sprite – $5.3bn

  9. Nespresso – $5.2bn

  10. Gatorade – $4.7bn

  11. Lipton – $3.7bn

  12. Minute Maid – $2.8bn

  13. Dr Pepper – $2.7bn

  14. Mountain Dew – $2.5bn

  15. Diet Pepsi – $2.3bn

Five are owned by Coca-Cola, Five by PepsiCo and two by Nestlé – both hot.

It’s extraordinary how far Coca-Cola outperforms all other brands in this analysis. And how far Red Bull has come.

I wonder when Big Cola, Capri-Sun, Keurig, Lipton Ice Tea, Monster and Nestlé Pure Life will enter the rankings. Which others do think should already be there or will be soon?
