Darigold adds new protein shakes to range

Darigold adds new protein shakes to range

US farmer-owned dairy producer Darigold has launched a new line of protein shakes, available in chocolate and vanilla flavours.

Each shake contains 30g of protein plus a blend of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals. The shakes are also made with lactose-free milk and contain no added sugar.

Darigold’s latest launch responds to data showing that demand for high-protein beverages is continuing to grow.

Research firm Mordor Intelligence estimates the market for RTD protein beverages to be worth $1.8 billion worldwide, projected to grow to $2.6 billion by 2030. North America represents the largest market for this category, with the US alone accounting for 58% of the market.

Boyd Tubbs, marketing director at Darigold, said: “To delightfully fuel your daily adventures, our new protein shakes are made with deliciously smooth real milk and other real ingredients, taste great and provide the nutrition people need to fuel their everyday lives.”

The shakes are now available at select retailers nationwide as well as on Amazon.
