Beam Suntory-owned brand On The Rocks has announced the release of a limited-edition ready-to-serve cocktail, the Spiced Pear Whiskey Sour.
This seasonal take on the classic whiskey sour features a blend of lemon, caramelised pear, cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice and rosemary, combined with Old Overholt Rye Whiskey. It’s crafted to be served over ice, with optional garnishes like a pear slice or cinnamon stick.
Carol Robert, managing director of RTD at Suntory Global Spirits, said: "This cocktail perfectly captures the essence of the season with its warm blend of spices, caramelised pear and the bold, smooth depth of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey".
"Our goal was to craft a cocktail that embodies the inviting spirit of fall while upholding the premium quality and craftsmanship On The Rocks is known for. The limited-edition cocktail is an ideal addition to both festive seasonal celebrations and laid-back autumn gatherings."
In addition, the packaging includes ‘Scratch & Smell’ technology, allowing shoppers to sample the aromas of pear and warm spices before purchasing.
The On The Rocks Spiced Pear Whiskey Sour cocktail, which has a 20% ABV, is available in 375ml bottles at select markets.
