Heinz has partnered with Pilgrim’s Food Masters’ sausage brand Richmond, to release new Heinz Beanz and Spaghetti with sausages. The two new products act as permanent additions to the Heinz portfolio and will replace the existing Beanz and Spaghetti with Sausages range. The collaboration comes following Heinz’s mission to elevate its sausage portfolio and improve its taste credentials across its products. Alessandra de Dreuille, director of meals and infant UK at Heinz, said: “Heinz Beanz and Spaghetti with Sausages have long been a speedy teatime staple for many families across the country. Whilst they have always been well loved, we’re big believers in always striving to create the best possible food products, and that means improving our recipes from time to time.” She continued: “That’s why we decided to partner with Richmond Sausages to permanently upgrade Heinz Beanz and Heinz Spaghetti with Sausages. With over 100 years of expertise, as well as also being a mealtime favourite for Brits across the UK, Richmond were a natural choice.” Chris Doe, UK marketing and innovation director at Pilgrim’s Food Masters, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Heinz to launch Heinz Beanz with Richmond Sausages...We strive to deliver crowd-pleasing, great-tasting products that consumers and retailers can trust to elevate their mealtimes, with exciting evolutions that consistently deliver on taste. As a fellow heritage brand, well-loved and trusted by households up and down the country, Heinz is the perfect fit for us.” This is the latest in a number of Heinz innovations from Kraft Heinz. Last month Heinz partnered with Mattel on a new vegan ‘Barbiecue’ mayonnaise and collaborated with London chicken shop Morley's on a new fried chicken sauce. In February the brand unveiled a limited-edition pasta sauce, The Godfather, which it developed with film production company Paramount. That same month, Heinz collaborated with Cathedral City on new cheesy baked beans and in November it unveiled a new pickle-flavoured tomato ketchup. Heinz Beanz and Spaghetti with Richmond sausages will be available to purchase in Asda stores from tomorrow for an RRP of £2, before further rollout in the coming weeks.
