Custom beverage development company, Flavorman, has opened a new $8.5 million production facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
The 28,000-square-foot expansion is part of the company's strategic efforts to scale up its state-of-the-art 'Beverage Campus' and meet growing demand for its services.
The brand-new Scott Reed Production Building is designed to enhance Flavorman's blending, compounding and quality control capabilities, featuring technology and laboratories. The facility aims to bolster the company's capacity for bulk flavour production and other highly sought-after services.
"The new facility represents an exciting leap forward for Flavorman and our clients," said Scott Weddle, CEO of Flavorman. "With this expansion, we're not just growing our physical footprint; we're expanding our ability to innovate and push the boundaries of what's possible in beverage creation."
The production centre includes enhanced blending equipment, increased processing and storage space, and specialized laboratories. The additional capacity will also allow Flavorman to expand its bottling and canning operations.
"We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter and look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on our community and the beverage industry as a whole," said David Dafoe, founder of Flavorman.
Flavorman, which was founded in 1992, has developed and formulated thousands of beverages, including energy drinks, flavoured spirits, teas and juices.
The company's 'Beverage Campus' in Louisville also houses Moonshine University and the Stave & Thief Society, providing educational and training resources for the industry.
The 28,000-square-foot addition, designed by Frankfort-based G. Scott & Associates and contracted by Cardinal Industries, is anticipated to bring several new jobs to downtown Louisville.
