Mars Food’s Tasty Bite brand has released five new ready-to-heat “simmer sauces” to help make Indian food more accessible in the US.
These sauces are developed by chefs in India, inspired by authentic recipes that are representative of the diverse range of flavours found across the country. All are vegetarian-friendly, gluten-free, kosher and free from artificial flavours and colours.
The new sauces are: Tikka Masala – A Delhi-style tomato sauce which combines ripe tomatoes, cream and toasted spices. Butter Chicken – A Punjabi-style sauce with slow-cooked tomatoes, butter and cashews.
Coconut Korma – A vegan Awadhi-style coconut sauce simmered with fragrant spices and cashews. Spicy Vindaloo – A vegan Goan-style tomato-based sauce with spices and aromatics. South Indian Curry – A vegan Chennai-style sauce infused with tomatoes, coconut cream and a peppery spice medley. Tasty Bite’s Simmer Sauces are available now in major retailers in the US.
