Pringles has launched a new flavour, Zesty Chilli & Lime, as part of its Spicy range, aimed at enhancing its appeal in the competitive snacks market.

The new offering, which combines citrus notes with a subtle heat, is available now across Australia and New Zealand.

The Chilli & Lime flavour joins the existing Sizzlin’ Chipotle Sour Cream variant, which has been rebranded with a fresh packaging design. This flavour features a lower heat intensity, appealing to consumers who prefer a milder taste without sacrificing flavour.

The introduction of the Spicy range reflects Pringles' strategy to cater to local preferences, particularly in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The company says it is committed to culinary innovation, with the introduction of flavours specifically designed to resonate with regional consumers.

Ileana Andrei, senior brand manager for salty snacks at Kellanova in ANZ, commented: “Our new Spicy range is designed to add some more spice into your life and turn snack time into a tantalising flavour-filled moment”.

The Spicy range is packaged in resealable cans, designed for convenience and freshness, catering to both casual snacking and more social settings. This move aligns with current consumer trends favouring on-the-go snacking options.

With the new Chilli & Lime flavour and the revamped Chipotle Sour Cream, Pringles aims to strengthen its position in the salty snack category, appealing to adventurous consumers looking for unique taste experiences.
