Tropicana Brands expands offering with NPD duo
Tropicana Brands has expanded its portfolio with two new RTD additions: Tropicana Sparkling and Naked Natural Energy drinks. The new lines were crafted to tap into consumer demand for refreshing and energising beverages made with natural ingredients. Tropicana Sparkling comes in two flavours, Zesty Orange and Tropical Twist, and is made with hand-picked fruits and natural ingredients, containing more than twice the fruit content compared to the sparkling category average. Tropicana Sparkling aims to stand out by offering a fruit-driven option for consumers wanting something more exciting than water and more natural than typical fizzy drinks. Functional smoothie brand Naked has tapped into the energy drink market with this latest launch, Naked Natural Energy, providing an option that is made with real fruit and natural caffeine, containing essential vitamins without added sugar. Elizabeth Ashdown, marketing director at Tropicana Brands Group, said: "Tropicana Brands Group have a portfolio of the best-known juices and smoothies in the UK, with over 7 million brand buyers ready to explore new offerings in the category. With Naked, we are leveraging the brand’s fruit and functionality credentials to democratise the world of natural energy drinks, and with Tropicana, we are bringing genuine fruit expertise to the fruit sparkling category.” She continued: “In both, we are better able to meet consumers demands for more natural, healthier drinks for their everyday on the go needs. This is a real pivot for our business, and we are investing significantly to grow our on-the-go portfolio to meet the needs of more consumers and shoppers.” The new beverages are rolling out across UK retailers now.
