Straus Family Creamery expands ice cream line with new gluten-free cookie dough flavour

Straus Family Creamery is expanding its range of 'organic super premium' ice cream range with the addition of a cookie dough flavour.


The new cookie dough flavour features a sweet cream base with gluten-free cookie dough chunks and chocolate chips. The variant is the third cookie option in the company’s line-up, joining the gluten-free lemon cookie and cookies & cream varieties.


Straus Family Creamery uses organic, high-butterfat cream and a traditional churning process, resulting in a creamy, smooth texture. The ice creams are free from preservatives, fillers, artificial ingredients and colouring agents, with egg yolks used as the sole stabiliser.


Straus Family Creamery's founder, Albert Straus, said: “I'm thrilled to introduce gluten-free Cookie Dough to the Straus ice cream line-up. This is a flavour we've long wanted to create and after extensive recipe development by our team, the result is delicious. In addition, it showcases the truly rich taste of high-quality organic milk and cream from our organic dairies, all while supporting our mission to sustain family farms.”


The cookie dough ice cream will be available at Sprouts Farmers Market nationwide for an SRP of $7.99 per pint.
