US manufacturer of dietary supplements, Enzymedica, has released a new formula crafted to meet the nutritional needs of intermittent fasters.

The tropical pineapple-flavoured drink mix blends a trio of essential ingredients including electrolytes, fibre and amino acids, which Enzymedica claims to maximise the fasting experience.

Intermittent fasting has become an increasingly popular health practice – it involves alternating cycles of fasting and then eating within a set number of hours. Scientific research shows that intermittent fasting supports weight management, increased energy levels, brain health and healthy aging.

Enzymedica’s Fasting Today formulation supports time-restricted diets with added nutrients essential during fasting periods. It is made with sustainably-sourced baobab fibre to reduce hunger, essential amino acids to support muscle strength and body composition and a balanced mix of key electrolytes to maintain optimal hydration and support bodily functions, including cardiovascular and brain health.
