Roebuck Food Group has sold its dairy business to an unrelated partnership in the Irish dairy milking industry for €1.45 million. After settling outstanding debts and adjusting accounts, the company will receive approximately €1.3 million. The company's dairy division, which was operated through its subsidiary Cantwellscourt Farm, generated revenue of €1.6 million in 2023, but recorded a loss after tax of €0.5 million. The disposal realises cash proceeds for potential future acquisitions or investments and will be used for the company's general corporate purposes. Roebuck has given the buyer various warranties and indemnities concerning the dairy division's assets and business. The company's directors consider the sale to be 'fair and reasonable,' and believe it is in the best interests of the company and its shareholders as a whole.
